Will Apple pick music's digital locks?

Steve Jobs, the boss of Apple, has written about the future of the music industry in an open letter on the Apple website.Among other things he argues that the copy protection software used to protect digital music downloads from piracy has not worked.

The letter makes for interesting reading and is the kind of thing Examiners use for part one of the N.M.T paper.
