Film Reviews
Here is the second in our new FILM REVIEW section.
The Pursuit of Happyness - This is such an inspirational film, something everyone can learn from, Will Smiths best ever performance. He should be nominated for an oscar for his role in this, although, it is a very hard film to watch, as this isn't a conventional film, nothing good happens to this man throughout the film, it just gets to a point where you're ready to give up as much as he is, and that's what's fantastic about this film. And for those who are confused as to why 'Happyness' is spelt like that, well you'll prob understand that particular particularity after you watch it.My own take on it is ,'Who cares how you spell happyness, as long as you have it?'. Great film.
9.5/10
Blood Diamond - Edward Zwick should be nominated for the best director award, hell, this film should nominated for many awards, it succeeds on so many levels. DiCaprio (Who, in my opionion is probably the best actor around) pulls off an awesome performance. The film was about 2 hours 10 mins, but for once, I'm forgiving on the run time, considering the intesity of the story. It's political, emotional and action packed.A brilliant film. Watch it .
8.5/10
